In the coming decade, most new jobs in B.C. will require some form of post?secondary education, with projections showing that 78% of job openings will need training beyond high school . Students who take dual credit are 7% more likely to graduate on time and 16% more likely to move directly into a B.C. public post?secondary institution after high school.
Dual credit gives students meaningful advantages, including access to some tuition-free post-secondary courses, a supportive transition into college or university, greater confidence in their academic abilities, and a clearer pathway toward studies and career opportunities.
